Import Clerk, based in Colnbrook, Berks. Import Clerk to work within a team of 6. Main tasks to include processing of import shipments from pre-alert from our overseas agent through Customs Entry, arranging airline collection/deliveries to our customers, advising PODs and ultimately billing the shipment to the client. Objectives are to arrange seemless movement from origin through to delivery in accordance with the Companys highest standards. Should be conversant with Customs Clearance Procedures, Classification of goods using the Customs Tarrif and input to ASM/CHIEF under SADH procedures using our in-house software. Experience with FM3 an advantage but by no means essential. Familiarity with multiple CPCs is preferred. Please only apply if you have the relevant experience.
